Adiclair® – recommendations for use
Adiclair is available in the following dosage forms: film-coated tablets, suspension, mouth gel and ointment.
A detailed dosage can be found here. For some of the dosage forms, further information on application is provided to help the patient.
Adiclair Suspension
The suspension is trickled into the mouth and should be moved slowly around the mouth for as long as possible before being swallowed. When treating the oesophagus, the suspension should be swallowed as far as possible lying down. The suspension should be taken after meals.
Adiclair Nystatin Mouth Gel
The mouth gel is best taken after meals by distributing it throughout the entire oral cavity. It should be kept in the mouth for as long as possible before swallowing. Dentures and orthodontic braces can also be coated with the mouth gel.
Adiclair Ointment
The ointment is applied to the affected skin areas.
